Hot Technology That Just Won't Stop

The engineers and designers at Technomics understand that manufacturers can't afford to stop the production process cold, in order to heat treat component parts. The Hot-Line™ Heat Treat, Quench, and Age System provides rapid heat treatment of component parts, without interrupting the production flow.

Instead of hot air or liquid, the Hot-Line System uses “fluidized” beds of sand-like media to transfer heat to the component part. Air is injected directly into the media – creating a fluid-like effect. When components are immersed in the media, the interior and exterior surfaces are heated evenly and rapidly.

A high-speed conveyor carries parts from the casting area to the heat treatment area. Then, a low-speed conveyor moves the parts through a series of fluidized heat treat, quench and age beds. Finally, a high-speed conveyor returns the heat treated parts to the manufacturing line. It's hot technology that just won't stop.
